Pretty in Pink, The Morrison Hotel Dublin

It’s hard to believe that The Morrison Hotel Dublin is a Doubletree by Hilton, it has such a small boutique feel. The beautiful rooms, great location, and excellent service keep me coming back.

If you are looking for quaint traditional accommodation, go elsewhere. This hotel is cutting edge modern. The rooms are white with shocking accents of hot pink, purple, or teal lights in the bedside tables and minibar. The theme continues into the funky astroturf courtyard with hot pink accents and glowing orbs.

I particularly love the hotel when it’s decorated for the holidays. The modern decorations stand in contrast from the traditional lights and decorations all over Dublin.

The Morrison is conveniently located on the River Liffey, across from Temple Bar and within walking distance to most major attractions. It’s only minutes away from the National Leprechaun Museum.  The trendy hotel has hosted big events or special parties almost every night that I’ve stayed. The noise carries into some of the rooms, so if you expect to have an early night or prefer a quiet room, it is best to mention it to the staff when you are checking in.
